We are aware of an issue with Outlook 2016 users, where Outlook will continually prompt for user credentials.

This has been investigated and Microsoft advise us that upgrading to Office 2019 is the solution. 

For Windows 10 users, this can be done via the Software Centre. This can be found by clicking the magnifying glass bottom left (search) and type software centre. For those still using Windows 7, please contact the IT Service Desk on 4044

Some users will not be able to perform the upgrade, this includes people using Excelerator, BIF, MS Project and Visio. Please contact 4044 for more information. Or email itlibraryhelpdesk@glos.ac.uk

An authentication issue has been identified in Outlook where the app will continually prompt for user credentials.

This is currently under investigation. As a work around, please use web mail for the time being. If you need access to a shared mailbox, you can access this by clicking on your profile top right and select 'open another mailbox'. It will open in a separate tab from that of your own mail.

The Outlook web app can be found here https://outlook.office.com/ or via the staff home page.
